Paradies pays particular attention to natural resources and renewable or reusable raw materials. The filling consists of environmentally friendly natural fibres and fabrics made of breathable Greentex® organic cotton, and the alternatives to organic materials or resource-saving materials are checked for each material. Work is underway to ensure that all raw materials used soon fulfil the high quality standards.
The annual offsetting of CO₂ emissions is confirmed by the CarbonNeutral® certificate. Support is provided by the climate protection projects. Paradies doesn't just "talk", it acts. The direct proof is in the many actions we take. 100% of our electricity comes from renewable energy sources. The entire electricity requirement is covered by 100% green electricity (renewable energy sources without CO₂ emissions and without nuclear power).
In addition to high quality standards, sustainability is also taken into account when selecting suppliers. Environmentally friendly production and healthy, fair working conditions are supported. Paradies regularly checks the standards and conditions on site in person. This should give customers the assurance that care is being taken.
Reducing waste and recycling leftovers are key issues for Paradies, as CO₂ can also be saved here. By recycling packaging materials, Paradies reduces around 130 tonnes of CO₂ every year. In addition, no waste is generated during the production of the bedding - all production waste is collected and made available to other industries for further processing so that new products can be created from it. We also rely on digital document systems in administration and pay attention to the responsible use of resources such as paper.
