PREPARING THE BALCONY & GARDEN FOR SPRING

The frost has gone, temperatures are climbing higher and higher above zero – spring is just around the corner. But if your garden furniture is still gathering dust in the cellar or clearly showing the effects of a rainy winter, you’re still a long way from enjoying the first rays of sunshine in the garden, on the patio or on the balcony. Here are some tips on how you can quickly spruce up your outdoor space this spring so that you can enjoy it for as long as possible this season.

SWEEP, MOP, POLISH

Before unpacking last year’s decorations, the patio or balcony should first be thoroughly cleaned. This includes removing leaves, hosing down the tiles and cleaning the glass doors. When cleaning the balcony, don’t forget the railings – this is often where the most dirt accumulates unnoticed. Once the garden has been spruced up, the lawn can also enjoy its first cut of the year. Once you are happy with the cleanliness, you can continue with the landscaping.

THE FINAL TOUCHES

Once the work is done, it's time to add the final touches. Now can decorative cushions and blankets be laid out to create even more atmosphere. candles and tablecloths set atmospheric touches and make the outdoor area more cosy.
