Your profile

You have already been working successfully in your field for at least a year with dedication and passion, and would like to offer your customers an even better and unrivalled shopping experience. You have the ambition to be part of a group of experts that is clearly recognised externally and to be even more successful. To this end, you are prepared to consistently put the knowledge gained during the training into practice, to continue developing independently after the training with the help of the tools provided, and, where necessary, to actively support your team colleagues with advice and practical assistance.

Programme content

The training programme lasts 16 months and culminates in a written and oral examination set by an examination board of the IHK.

The programme comprises 9 training modules, which are always planned a year in advance for periods of low attendance. Some of the fascinating topics are covered in special collaboration between our training manager and leading manufacturers, offering a level of excellence and quality never seen before:

Sustainability in the furniture trade, perspective drawing, expert knowledge of fabrics, expert knowledge of the effects of space, colour and light, working with mood boards, expert knowledge of leather, expert knowledge of hard materials and finishes, practising the practical application of this knowledge with your clients, and the conception and development of design plans, expert knowledge of upholstery and ergonomics, and the integration and consideration of technical and client-specific components in your planning.

A key feature of our training programme is its high level of hands-on experience, as we firmly believe that, in order to inspire your customers, you must be inspired yourself.
