The innovative BackFlow technology

The way the berbel BackFlow technology works is impressive: a secondary air flow is generated through discreet, circumferential ventilation slots, which guides the cooking and frying vapours specifically to the extraction and centrifugal separation system. This targeted support ensures extremely efficient capture of cooking vapours while minimising the formation of condensation on the glass surfaces.

Simple idea - effective result

The berbel principle: Centrifugal force is at the heart of the berbel principle. It all starts with suction power. The cooking vapours are drawn in through a narrow gap. When they enter the bonnet, speed is added to the suction force. Together they accelerate the vapours and deflect them twice. The resulting centrifugal force separates fats and oils from the air, while an integrated residual separator retains the finest grease particles. The result: consistently high grease separation.

An all-round perfect solution

The berbel Skyline Round island bonnet creates space in the kitchen and cleans the air quietly and efficiently. Thanks to CentreFlow separation, it is also suitable for hobs up to 80 cm wide, even though its diameter is only 60 cm. With the lift function, it disappears into the ceiling when required and automatically returns to the optimum position above the hob. So kitchen vapours no longer stand a chance!

Clear air in a sleek design

The Glassline impresses with its extensive features and uses the proven berbel BackFlow technology to effectively capture cooking and frying vapours. Discreet air currents at the sides and also at the front direct the rising vapours to the intake gap in the centre. The integrated separator unit, consisting of a centrifugal separator and capillary trap, can be easily removed for cleaning and cleaned in the dishwasher.
