Bookkeeping

Accounting within the company is divided into three areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable and balance sheet accounting. Our accounting staff are involved, for example, in checking and posting incoming and outgoing invoices, credit checks, checking payment runs and much more.

Customer service

Customer Service or Customer Care is organised internally into Furniture and Kitchen Customer Service and Damage Reporting. The tasks that our customer service staff deal with on a daily basis include, for example, recording complaints and the associated reordering, resolving any issues that arise with our customers, processing orders from delivery through to the full resolution of the complaint, and much more.

Purchasing

Within Purchasing, interaction with all other departments of the company is essential. The tasks of our purchasing staff include planning and managing suppliers, products and product groups, analysing various key performance indicators, ordering and reordering goods, selecting products for upcoming advertising campaigns and much more.

Marketing

The marketing department is internally divided into the graphics department, e-commerce and general marketing. Our team manages all advertisements, information and communications that Ehrmann publishes externally, as well as internal and external events. Every week, projects are assigned within the department and current topics are discussed during a team meeting.

Controlling

In Controlling, internally defined key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire company and the individual business units are determined and monitored. The required data is aggregated via APIs and databases and broken down into locations and cost centers. In addition, there is an ongoing dialogue with all departments as well as close direct coordination with management. General monitoring of current costs is also part of the Controlling department’s remit.

Scheduling

The scheduling department in our company is divided into two areas: the kitchen area and the furniture area. The main tasks in scheduling are agreeing delivery dates and planning and organising routes for our fitters. Scheduling acts as the interface between sales, customers, customer service and fitters.
