Finding the right rug size
Finding the right rug size is usually not that easy. Every rug creates an individual atmosphere in a room. A rug should always fit the dimensions of a room and reflect them.
Insider tip: Combine rugs with each other
We already know the so-called “layered look” from the fashion world, but this trend is also super easy to implement in interiors. Use a plain rug as a base and remain flexible with your choice of other rugs.
Cosy textiles
Pretty textiles such as cushions or blankets are ideal for an afternoon on the sofa and make your home feel cosier.
Do you actually prefer a clean furnishing style, but still need a change in your own four walls? Then add a little accent to your living room or bedroom with colourful blankets & plaids or cushion covers.
A freshness boost in the bathroom
Who doesn't like coming out of a hot bath or a refreshing shower in the morning and then snuggling up in a fluffy bath towel or bathrobe. The cosy fibres immediately provide a pleasant feeling on the skin.
Household tip: How to wash your towels & co. properly
Whether in the bathroom or in the kitchen, our skin has the most contact with towels & co. – with just a few care tips, your towels will stay cosy and soft for a long time.
Sort them correctly: Sort your towels, bath towels or shower towels by colour – white towels should be separated from coloured ones.
Correct temperature: For hygiene reasons, towels should be washed at a minimum of 60 degrees.
Correct detergent: For classic white towels, a heavy-duty detergent can be used to keep your towels white for a long time. For coloured bath towels, you can use a mild detergent or colour detergent to keep the colours bright for longer.
Extra tip: Make sure that your washing machine is not too full, as the absorbent textiles absorb more water and this can lead to a poorer result due to the mass.
