Hi, I’m Cassis – your bench made from poplar wood and paper cord. My name comes from the coastal town of Cassis in Provence – and evokes summer and a sense of lightness.

I’m crafted from poplar wood in a natural finish and woven with paper cord – which gives me a light, handcrafted look. Measuring 80 cm wide, 35 cm deep and 45 cm high, I’m a slim bench, and weighing around 3.5 kg, I’m easy to carry. The paper cord gives me a delicate, handcrafted texture.

In the hallway for putting on shoes, at the foot of the bed or as a storage surface in the living room – I’m a practical everyday companion. With a basket or a blanket on top, I look particularly inviting. My natural look suits Scandinavian, natural and modern interiors.
