Discover your potential with our Junior Advancement Programme! Over 12-18 months, we offer an intensive journey of professional development. Not only will you be part of an exchange round to share experiences, but you will also create monthly reports to track your progress. Additionally, you will receive an ADA licence and be trained in POS education as well as leadership seminars.

Your profile

Your profile is characterised by a clear ambition to take the next step in your career and a willingness to take on responsibility within the company. You have completed vocational training and have already worked at Ehrmann for at least one year. You identify strongly with our company. Your commitment is reflected in your independent and goal-orientated work, coupled with a confident, professional manner when dealing with customers and colleagues. You are ready to develop your leadership skills. Over the 18 months of the programme, you will learn to manage your own area and lead employees. Flexibility and a willingness to work at different Ehrmann locations round off your profile.

Contents of the programme

The training content is designed to prepare you for the personnel, organisational and commercial management of a furniture or kitchen department. Your training will include training employees, ensuring agreed sales and costing targets are met and carrying out quality controls. Market observation and analysis are just as much a part of the programme as conducting sales and price discussions with personal and departmental sales responsibility. You will learn how to implement merchandising concepts, gain insights into other areas of the company and be responsible for regular feedback and reporting. You will also be offered coaching and a range of seminars for your personal and professional development. Completion of the junior programme entitles you to participate in the senior promotion programme.
